Outrage in the aftermath

Displaced New Orleanian C.B. Forgotston expresses his outrage at the situation in southeast Louisiana: "LA has one hope to survive the ravages that are being inflicted on the citizens of LA, not by Hurricane Katrina, but by the government incompetence or unconcern in the aftermath. We need the assistance of the people of the United States to bring pressure to bear on the Federal government to make a top priority the protection and saving of lives here in America... I cannot break it down any more simply. Either the people of the U.S. will respond or they won't. What they do will determine what our government does..."
