Seize the post-Katrina moment

Today's NYT has two columns highlighting the role of poverty in the New Orleans post-Katrina aftermath. Bob Herbert and David Brooks both write of the need to address poverty in the storm's aftermath. My piece in Sunday's LAT raised many of the same issues.
